Wednesday night sailing, 11th May 2011
A good turnout for Sailing tonight,(6 multihulls & 8 slow handicap) although it took a long time for everyone to get in! In the crows nest we couldn't put the light on when it got dark because we wouldn't be able to see the boats,
therefore we couldn't see the clock, so had to use a keyring torch!
During the race we had extra excitement when a yacht ran aground, twice,
it seems she was trying to leave the river!
Webcam now pointing out to sea - but anenometer no longer working
By popular request the webcam is now pointing out to sea ![]()
But unfortunately the weather station is no longer working - and a replacement is required ![]()
